The following funding opportunities exist:
 
Funding provider:  Enterprise Network for Young Australians (ENYA)
Funding purpose:  Micro Finance Fund Launch: Supporting young Entrepreneurs entering the business world.
Funding amount $:  up to $2 500
Description:  ENYA's Micro Finance Fund has been developed specifically to support young entrepreneurs, aged between 16-24 years, entering the business world by offering: 1. A grant of up to $2 500 for the purchase of capital equipment. 2. Completely interest free loans. 3. Access to a wide network of support services including a toll free advice line, an online forum for young entrepreneurs and free access to business information. 4. A free business start-up kit. 5. Access to the Youth and Enterprise Legal Centre, another of ENYA's initiatives, which can help you with many of the legal matters associated with starting a business on a reduced-fee basis. This is a pilot initiative.

Funding purpose:  Claiming for Start-Up Assistance might be worth up to $300 to your organisation, or to your apprentice or trainee. That's the size of the subsidy the Queensland Government pays to reimburse apprentices, trainees, or their employers, for the purchase of tools and equipment (excluding uniforms).

Funding provider:  The Courier Mail Childrens Fund

Description:  The fund generally provides assistance for mobility and learning aids, educational equipment, recreational and respite programs, new technology and medical equipment. Written applications should include a cover sheet with the organisations details and a description of the project, evidence of DGR status, details of the organisations structure, details of what funding is sought and how it will be used.
