Under 18? You have rights, too! Legal Aid Queensland provides specialised legal assistance for young people.

Youth Legal Aid provides the following services: Legal information; Legal advice about your particular legal issue; Representation in a dispute with someone else; and Representation in court if you have been charged with a criminal offence.

You may be able to get help with such issues as: You have been charged with a criminal offence (and are under 17); You have been approached or questioned by the police; You have been discriminated against; You have a dispute with your employer; You have a dispute over a contract; You are a victim of crime and want compensation; and/or You want your own lawyer for a Child Protection application.
